Halston attended one semester at Indiana University in the Spring of 1952. He excelled in art classes but decided to move to Chicago in order to pursue his interest in fashion design. IU is carrying on his legacy through their fabulous fashion department and soigned Halston collection. I was privileged to have been invited to contribute to their exhibit Halston Line and Legacy in 2015 and for a book signing, all proceeds went to my fathers scholarship fund at IU.
